The Liberals have tried to tax ammunition, restrict magazine sizes, impose taxes and fees, restrict areas where you can have guns, put background checks to buy ammunition and accessories. After all of that, criminals and those who want to commit violence never bother to check if its legal or illegal.

I still think its funny to call it an "assault" against the 2nd, while its the 2nd that allows so many assaults, armed assaults, in USA

If you ever actually look at the stats, the vast majority of gun violence is either suicide (over 50%!), followed by gang violence, usually with a handgun. America doesn't have a gun problem. It has a gang problem.

You're right, gangs never ever kill anybody without a gun. Just ask any south American country

Guns make is easier to kill. Do you deny that?

Cars make it easier to kill. Do you deny that?
There are a LOT of hit and runs in the USA. Do you deny that? We better ban cars too.

Cars are built for travel. Guns are built to kill. Do you deny that?
    That comparaison is stupid.

What it's "built for" doesn't mean shit. Some guns are built explicitly for sport shooting, hunting is legal, there is a such thing as a lawful killing (self-defense, etc). [edited]

Guns are built to kill. Hunting is killing an animal. Its KILLING. So the sole purpose of guns is to kill. For many reasons, yes, but its still designed to kill.
So I'm single brained celled histrionic? Well, rude, but sure. If you can't understand the difference between a car and a gun, I'm the stoopid one, sure, yeah. Yeah, I'm the one that can't understand simple logic, suuuuuuure.

Actually read a great idea on school shootings. Here it is.

Guards in schools. Armed. But, those guards have the following iron clad, no interpretation or "Situational discretion", rules

    1. Shooting starts they move towards and stop it.

    2. If the weapon is drawn in any situation other than an ARMED (meaning weapon not kid charging them who MIGHT.......) threat? Fired on the spot and felon type blocked from ownership. That is a check on the "I have a gun and will use it to get my way now in situations".

    3. If they flee to safety while people die to "regroup" or "stragegize" or whatever you call it. See 2 PLUS large non appealable fine and open to lawsuits without ANY immunity at all.

Basically armed guards. Who's job is to stop the shooting. Period. Not "stop it as long as that can be done in perfect safety".

    Or

Apply 3 to the cops. No QI if they Uvalde or MSD outside for an hour waiting for shooting to stop first. No job if they do.

that is such a good idea more guards in every school and armed as well, employment goes up, gun
+ bullets and equipment sales go up, school fee's or taxes go up to pay for this and children's mental health has to go up, what kid doesn't want to be surrounded by armed people they barely know, and we should maybe arm the school bus drivers as well, maybe build a safe room in every class room and the construction industry can go up, that's so much better than just contr0lling the guns, how can the economy / companies make any profit on that.
