What is Critical Race Theory

CRT in layman terms as they are trying to portray it is "As a white person you are born racist. You will always be racist and therefore you should be demonized for it."

Basically they want you to feel guilty being born white.
The communist used this to great success and they still use it to this day.
In my opinion all this is nothing more than people in the government trying to seize total power. The lockdowns failed, people are pissed than scared so they roll this out.
This is how wars are started. It doesn't end well if it's allowed to fester and grow.

No??? This isn't even a government program, it's completely grassroots. You're not being demonized for being born white or born racist in CRT, that's propaganda to rile you up.

I have family members who are teachers in the public school system, yes more than a couple, and they ALL say that the curriculum and planning modules on CRT was exactly as BH5153 posted.
They were appalled that they were being instructed to teach that being white (yeah, Black needs to be capitalized but white doesn't- where's the racist and bias there?), that being white you are inherently racist.

Luckily, it wasn't mandatory for them, but elective.

It's not propaganda, but an exercise by the self-loathing left to appease the minorities.

(Remember the news of the left leaning congregations that washed the feet of black people as to atone for
the actions of their ancestors?)

You know, I don't know any black person forced to pick cotton, required them to call anyone "Master",
had to use a separate bathroom or drinking fountain, had to face any sign that said "Negros not served",
or required to answer "Race" on a job application.

CRT is based in racism. It started with Genghis Kahn, was used by Marx, Hitler etal tyrants.

The current version is about 40 years old, but the premise is the same, convince people that another
ethnic group is and has been your oppressor and needs to be abased and forced into submission.

 

If it's not a .gov program, then why is it being integrated into the military and .gov employment.
CRT has been used very successfully over the years. One prime example Germany. They used CRT to castigate the Jews and looked how that turned out.
CRT hurts everybody and everything. It is designed to turn people against each other. Doesn't matter what race you are.

Wow, ok, none of that is true, government isn't pushing it that's up to command who can't make national policies and Germany didn't use critical race theory, Jewish people where scapegoats for as long as Christianity has been a thing. When Germany surrendered they blamed Jewish people because it was easier than admitting they where outmatched.

Don't tell me I make this stuff up. I am hearing it firsthand from those who are on the front line dealing
with this liberal nonsense.

I did over-emphasize the part about being white meant being racist. In clarity, she told me that they
were to teach everyone is racist but since they are a majority of white students it was to point out
that if you are not white, and are the recipient of a racial remark or slur, you are to understand
and try to accept that is just how people of other races than you are.

She said in the meeting, there was nothing brought up about the white students being the target
of racist remarks. So she brought that up and her question was addressed in a very minor way
with one remark stating the white students really aren't the target of racist remarks so there
wasn't any reason to focus on them.

She said the basis of the curriculum had a good basis that wasn't the main focus.
Her thought was that the class should focus on acceptance and understanding instead of
a focus on how everyone is a racist.

Btw, "she" is my niece.
The other teacher is related by marriage to my marriage so not 'true' blood family, but
at the July 4th family gathering, she pined in that her district also addressed teaching a
form of CRT but sensibility won and the board decided it wasn't necessary.

Her district is of one where she said (I don't know if her number was exaggerated or not) that
about 20% of the females in the oldest 2 grades were pregnant. So they are a school district
with intelligent leadership who have figured out how to handle difficult situations, and they
decided teaching CRT would not help nor benefit them in any way.

 

Who do you think Command takes orders from? The Joint Chiefs of Staff who take orders directly from the Executive branch of Government.

Germany did use CRT with the Jews. Your own words. They blamed the Jews for everything. Same thing applies now, except for jews it's now white people. Socialist have used CRT for decades. This is nothing new and it will not solve anything except make us more divided as a nation. But you do you.
