Looking for Your Comments about the Forum, Good or Bad.

Again, I did not edit the ages, I was changing other words.

 

Sigh ... it was not my intent from first post on to violate the rules. It was not my intent to re-add/edit/ etc the ages back.

What is apparent is while I was editing my first post several times on other words, my first and subsequent edits were being modified by one or other moderators. This means, as my edits were saved, it saved my original post with my edits to other portions. These saves of my edits, obviously, countermanded, the edits by moderators and the only evidence is that I flagrantly violated the rules.

This phenomenon is a function of a couple things, the system used here and the aggressive moderation. But, I have no other proof other than my word verses the saved edits that only show the entire saves, but not my edits. This means, my intent is not shown and thusly not the provable.

Double sigh.

What’s ironic is that on other systems, this is not much of an issue if at all.

I do protest, but I see I have no real way demonstrate my intent anymore.

 

You see, if I edit my above reply on a comma error (“... countermanded, ...“) and at the same time it was being edited by a moderator on something else, my comma error would be fixed, but the other issue that was being addressed by a moderator would be negated.

This effect would exhibit itself if moderator changed and I changed on subsequent edits/saves making it appear I am being obstinate and just rude.

Again, not my intent.

 

Lastly, I will say this, if I can stay, I will be extremely cognizant of the rules.
