To be fair? Our Public Elementary schools lie to us. Say the Pilgrims came here for 'religious freedom for everyone!'. Not the truth of 'failed to overthrow the CoE and install Puritan as law, so they came to the new world fleeing execution to make it law here'. My favorite is how they make a borderline Socialist song "This Land is Your Land" into a "America is GREAT" anthem. If you dont understand what I mean? These are the verses they take out:

Yes. There is a lot of over adjustment to the Left swing as well.

I am saying that 7 year olds, who cant handle how abusive the Puritans were in reality? Dont need to learn history at all. If they cant handle that kind of stuff till say 11 or 12? Start US History there. The same way those 7 year olds DONT NEED to hear about sexuality.

A friend of my proposed the following theory. That Fauci and the CDC have recently lifted Covid lockdowns and mandates for the purpose of allowing the government revoking Title-42, thereby allowing the government to fully open the border and allow the illegals to crossover and stay in the U.S. The government imposes and lifts Covid mandate at their whim for they empowerment, with total disregards to the peoples safety. The Democrats Agenda is more important than American Citizens Lives.

 

On history? Our US modern history teachers, as of the 1990s were still PRETENDING that the US "Single-handedly won WWII for Europe". The truth is the Russians were in Berlin before us. If Hitler did not turn on Russia and fight a 2 front war? We would not have made a damned bit of difference.

Our US History teachers still blather about how the Pilgrims came here for "Religious freedom FOR ALL". Truth is they came here ahead of a headsman's axe. Because they attempted to usurp CoE and make "Puritanism the law". Then came here and did just that. They tortured Quakers and Natives that were not following "Puritan". They held "Witch Trial" for any social dissension when the tide started turning against "Puritan as law" in their settlement.

I only knew of Tulsa because my 8th Grade US History teacher told the Admin to "GFY, I dont care what you want in the curriculum." and had enough sway locally to win. That is left out so many places or glossed over as an "incident without a real reason".

Let me add, yes, there are a lot of people knowledgable. As Mila pointed out? There are people who think their AGE and AGE alone mean they are right because they have "Life Experience, Wisdom, and demand respect". And that REPLACES actual experience and education on the subject.

Not to stir the pot. But many people are like the locked thread's opening when it comes to being an "elder". "I, as the elder, will unilaterally define the respect you WILL give me. I will tell YOU what is what and you will not question me.". There is a real, not insignificant, group out there who think an 80 year old woman on a register part time who was a cashier since 18, knows more about Corporate Finance and Accounting than people with Masters, Doctorates and actual CPAs because "she is their elder and her 'life experience' plus 'wisdom' means she knows more".

 

The problem I have with Title 42 was it was a veil to sidestep the treaties we signed.

It is, in fact simple. You cross ONLY at marked crossings, announce immediately. Have a hearing. Not "return home and file a request with payment. We will get back to you at some point". That. Day. Dont have enough judges? Hire. More. Nominate. TODAY. Anyone that crosses anywhere else is not "eligible".

 

Fact. The government has bombers, tanks, and bombs. You have a glock and an AR-15. Government will WIN no matter how many guns the town has.

 

You shoot your AR-15 at a bomber? You might shoot it out of the air. It WILL drop it all and you got 2 kills, they got a town or two of kills. Be real. The armed populace delusion died when the people LET the government say "we can have, you cant. Law.".

 

All military people know you need foot solders to hold territory. You can have all the planes and tanks you want, but without solders on the ground you can't hold territory. What good are bombers if you have no landing strips to refuel and rearm. What good are tanks if they have no gas and no shells for their cannon. You may have an advantage to start with, but all your advance equipment will quickly become expensive paperweights.

 

I am saying if the US decided to suppress the people? They can carpet bomb from carriers. The military has fuel. They dont go to the "Gas Station" to get it. They can take out whole STATES before they run out. Carriers have REACTORS. Much of our fleet is NUCLEAR, not "Fuel". They are not going in to meet you old school Civil War, lined up in a field.

 

Aircraft carriers and submarines are nuclear, all other ships use diesel. The military probably have about 60 days worth of fuel at full use. But you need to get the fuel and ammo from where its stored to where it would be used. If the civilian population rose up and stopped all shipments, the military would be using all its resources getting to the supplies not carpet bombing states. The only way the military could win is for the entire population to get on their knees and beg.
