Which people? What about the intent behind the kill? Prescription drugs kill more than 100 thousand people per year in the USA and nobody bats an eye.

Let's say hypothetically that USA changed its federal gun laws to be similar to Canadian gun laws. What do you all think would happen?

I wonder what occurred in 2015 that initiated a drastic increase in homicide rate.

 

Statistics from the US DOJ says about 47% of all violent crime is associated with gang activity. You can bet most every gang member is packing. The DOJ also estimates there are around 1 million active gang members in the US. The population of the US is 332 million. So...less than 1/3 of 1% of the population is responsible for almost half of all the violent crime here in the US. There you have it.

 

Since you mentioned the NRA not one member has ever been involved in a mass shooting.

Firearms deaths have been pretty stable since 1998 until BLM started in 2013-2014.

Really?? Lets see who has been more helpful to Russia Trump or Biden.

Fact 1: Russia's main money maker is oil. When Trump was in office it was around $30.00 per barrel. As soon as Biden got in he made moves that caused prices to skyrocket and now it is close to $100 a barrel and will be going much higher. So Biden made it possible for Russia to not only invade but to be able to sustain an invasion. Under Trump Russia may have invaded but they would not have been able to sustain the conflict for more than a couple of months.

Fact 2: Biden has delivered some weapons. However, he blocked fighter jets and has only delivered 3 tanks. Trump would have authorized fighter jets and tanks would have been delivered months ago.

Fact 3: Russia is using Iranian drones. How did Iran get drone technology faster and better than Russia? Under Obama/Biden a US molitary drone crashed near the Iran/Iraq border on the Iraq side. Iran crossed the border and retrieved the drone and reverse engineered it. We had the opportunity to destroy the drone but because Iran military was near by chose not to.

Fact 4: Nordstream 2 was sanctioned by the US under Trump. To help "persuade" Putin to not attack Ukraine Biden removed most of those sanctions. After the invasion, the sanctions were not reimposed.

No Biden authorized 31. Only 3 have been delivered.
He may send jets now but he has blocked them for the past year. Poland was ready to send them in March. Biden told Poland not to.

I never said I was a Trump supporter. I just do not like facts not being told or taken out of context or ignored completely for some predetermined narrative that has no basis in reality.

 

Abrams have been in the works since they've been announced, they're supposed to be in Ukraine any day now.

Even so, 31 Abrams is only one battalion. It's not going to win the war and we have a lot more in storage. The same with the Bradleys, which was our stop-gap model and set to be scrapped before Russia invaded.

We have stockpiles stored away all over the world in climate controlled facilities. Giving the Ukrainians a few hundred tanks and IFVs is nothing, so why are we tossing them only a few?

 

Keep in mind that western vehicles aren't wunderwaffen, the main advantage they have is easier maintenance, reliability (though the Ukrainians said the Bradley's gearboxes are on their last legs), thermal sights, and most of all, crew survivability.
