Any Americans tired of all the guns?

It has the potential to be one of the greatest countries, but its not because of archaisms like this

The issue is the judicial system being soft on violent offenders, not the ability of law-abiding people to get a self-defense tool.

 

It is a great country - because the weak can defend themselves from violent thugs without going to jail like in other western countries.

There's a reason representative governments spread across the world after guns became available to common people.

 

And the weak also do mass shootings in schools almost every week. Yeah, "great" country

 

Interesting since guns are banned in schools.

 

If America is so bad then why do 11,000 people a day try and come here illegally from the south? If Canada is so great why do the hundreds of people a day from other nations come across our northern border illegally instead of staying in Canada?

 

Because people believe in the American Dream, but realize too late its just that, a dream

 

Then why do they stay?

I personally know people that are here in 3 different states that are here illegally. I know 11 that own houses, about 30 that have brand new cars and dozens that have wives and children here and in their home countries. Money is not an issue.

 

America is better than the shithole of a country they came from and sadly they come to America expecting to live like royalty but are just turning America into the same shithole they came from because they lack the competence required to understand advanced technologies. Not all but the majority.

Easier to sneak in. Canada is a freezer half the time of the year and people from warm climates don't have the genetics to tolerate the cold weather.

 

Or, more likely, they come to USA to have a good life but some racist americans prevent them from making a good life here.

Why can't they make a good life in their own country?

You don't think it's selfish for people to move to a better country (that has worked to develop itself, its people and its laws) for the sole purpose of reaping its benefits outright? Then send money back home and suffocate the economies of developed countries.

Sometimes it is racism however more often than not... Being frustrated at the selfishness and incompetence of others can be confused for racism.

It's all interconnected. Guns don't kill people.
