We are still at the same point, the insecurity for the prostitute. If a client has to be examined to avoid contagion, it means that he must first accept this medical inspection, which not everyone would be willing to do, then it means a doctor and a nurse in every brothel and also a laboratory to examine the tests. A blood or urine test cannot be done just anywhere and by anyone, you need qualified staff and a laboratory in every brothel. How much would such a service cost with the prostitute, how long would the clients have to wait for the results? And taking the test in the morning and being with the prostitute in the evening is not feasible, because during the day you could get infected. And, most importantly, in countries where prostitution is legal, it has not meant the end of human trafficking, the pressure of the mafias on prostitutes. Now the police can arrest a prostitute and take her to the police station and there try to ensure that if she is controlled by a mafia, she can ask for protection because she is in a situation that is more protected by the police. If prostitution is legal, the police cannot act unless there is a complaint and they would not do it out of fear. But the much more essential question to show that legalisation really cares about prostitutes and is their only interest, considering that a prostitute is infected with a disease by a client. In countries where prostitution is legal,

Has there been an end to human trafficking?

    Have the prostitution mafias disappeared?

Is it compulsory for the client to present a medical certificate?

In how many brothels are there doctors, nurses and laboratories to ensure that the client is healthy and does not infect the prostitute with anything?

Legalize it, regulate the heck out of it, require licenses to prostitute, require regular check ins with a case worker as a requisite to keeping the license active, oh yeah and tax the heck out of it

    Prostitution should be legalized.
They are providing a skill and service that people need and want. Legal will just make it safer for the women who want to provide this service.
Best of all put the women in charge of everything to do with running it and making the rules.
Men have no place in running a service like this.

    Okay.
    I stand corrected here.
For those men, probably with huge tools, that provide a needed service to some lovely ladies in need, they need to be legalized too.
I still think women should run them too.
Maybe they could be managed by their moms after checking that the service provided is acceptable and meets mommies standards and needs. :):):):):):p
