    Tow Truck Driver Refuses to Haul Stranded Motorist With 'Bernie' Stickers on Car


    A tow truck driver in North Carolina said that when he discovered a stranded motorist was an enthusiastic supporter of Bernie Sanders, he declined to help her.
    When Kenneth Schupe arrived on the scene in Asheville, he was dismayed to find a "bunch of Bernie Sanders stuff" on and inside the woman's vehicle.
    He said he told the woman "very politely" that he couldn't tow her because she was "obviously a socialist." He advised her to "call the government" for a tow instead.
    "Every business dealing in recent history with a socialist-minded person I have not gotten paid," he told Fox Carolina. "I own the truck. The sign of my truck says 'Shupe,' it doesn't say 'freebie.' And every time I deal with these people I get 'Berned' -- with an 'e' not a 'u'."
    Shupe says he's a conservative Christian who supports Donald Trump. An attorney who commented on the situation said that political affiliation is not a protected class, so Shupe violated no laws by choosing not to tow her.

    Did anyone see Bernie on MSNBC being interviewed by Rachel Maddow? He was talking about a need to get rid of "Corporate Media". I guess he prefers State Run Media.

    He said to Maddow, "The Democrat Party needs a news outlet like the Republican Party has with Fox News. "

    I guess he doesn't realize that MSNBC IS the equivalent of Fox News. Just not as popular with the public.

    I dont particularly like him. But to do the slight correct to make what he says valid and normal. We need to look into why in Cronkite's day, they managed to deliver facts not opinion. And I dont think that they broadcast Celeb news for half the broadcast either. Cronkite predates me so please correct if they did.

    Now as to why? Lets take the NBC news Cycle. Not MSNBC. Straight network Channel 4 here in NYC. Broadcast. 4 am to 10 Today Show. Noon news. 4 pm, 5pm, 6 and 6:30. 7 Celeb show. 11 pm. That is 11.5 hours of news a day. Maybe if they cut it back to Noon. ONE evening hour and late, cutting a QUARTER OF A DAY of news, they could treat it as a necessary loss time. Like they did back then. Plus the Celeb show. now with almost half they day news, they need to worry about ad revenue in that time.
