Stalin perverted the ideals of Communism and made the USSR another Ring Wing dictatorship like there were so many around in that time

My "extraction" was for brevity only, an attempt to make it clear which parts I was commenting on. You have even repeated MY assertion that the whole of history is important to consider, each part in its own right, and not just some final conclusion reached from it.

None-the-less, the energy I have to attempt to convey my point is gone and you seem to still not understand.

The other countries ARE scrambling to become NATO members for that reason alone.
So unless Putin is looking to start WWIII, it will stop at Ukraine.

I tend to agree. We thought it had stopped after Crimea, but he had to do it again. I just can't see the cycle NOT repeating.

The points raised about China maybe seeing Russian territories as an easy target in the wake of this war is an interesting one, and if it eventuates will be possibly the first interesting "the enemy of my enemy" scenario since WW2.

It may be the best way for Russia to be curbed... But at the expense of reinforcing China's expansionism? A bit of a bitter pill to swallow longer-term.

 

The Ring does the same. THey blame Socialism for everything bad that they do themselves.

 

I have to wonder if they are actively steering China towards attacking Russia instead of Taiwan!

I have to disappoint you. This rumor is fake, Ukraine is not involved in the explosion at the airbase. In this case, there is Russian negligence. Simply put, they blew themselves up.

 

The russian ship that sank was "negligence" too.
