    Newbie to this thread but here fucking goes.



    Just had a fucking colonoscopy for the second time in a fucking month because the fucked-up doctor couldn’t get the scope in right the first fucking time. This shit fucking sucks. Damn my fucking ass.



    God it feels good to fucking vent.

    The first job they gave me on my surgical rotation was assisting the doc on the colonoscopies. They'd do about 20 a day. I got to clean the anal probe - seriously, make sure he had a clean probe. You'd be surprised how many mistakes are made. People get tired.
    Fuck I was glad to get out of there.

    I have always heard it's that nasty fucking stuff you have to drink the night before. People tell me it is fucking gross but you have to drink it all. so did we have any fucking cheaters who said they did but did not? I think it's like fucking 3 liters or something like that.

    It depends on what the doctor orders. I had two different types. The first one is the one you are thinking about Allison. It's a powder mixed with a gallon of water. That one tasted ok because they give you orange flavoring with it. If you don't like orange it said you can mix it with any flavor of crystal light. You take half the night before and half the morning of the procedure.

    The second one was a bottle of liquid you mix with water to make 16 ounces, followed by two more 16 ounce glasses of water. That one tasted like very bad cough syrup. It was fucking awful.

    Its not what it taste like that is the real problem, its what it fucking does to you. The stuff is an industrial strength laxative. You'll be married to the fucking toilet bowl till its time to see the doctor.
