    I don’t remember his name, but a comedian said this about colonoscopies about 25 years ago:

    “I asked my doctor if it will hurt and he said, and I quote, ‘you might experience a little discomfort’. This is somewhat akin to telling someone in the path of a title wave, you might experience a little moisture.”

    When I was younger, I was injured on the job, I had a fucking accident and sliced several of my fingers open, they were deep cuts but none of my fingers were in danger. So I was taken to the fucking emergency room and I had two incidences. I had to check in so the nurse was asking me all kinds of question, when she came to where I was injured, I held up both hands one was clear and the other was wrapped with blood soaked bandages and bleeding, I held out the bleeding hand and said "I think this one". After check-in the doctor was examining the cuts and said that they needed to clean out the wound, my hand had been covered with oil and dirt. They had to open the cuts further to get inside to do a better job of cleaning. The doctor called over a nurse and orderly they held my arm down and the doctor said "hold still, this is going to hurt a little". It fucking hurt a lot. If they didn't have two people holding my arm down there was no fucking way I wasn't going to move.

    I understand being diplomatic and not wanting to scare the patient, but if on a scale of 1 to 10, it's going to be an 8, tell us 5, not 2 for fucks sake. Be somewhat fucking realistic.

    On the Upside, I got a call about a customer service job in a tech consultancy company in Dublin and unfortunatly the hours are either 2pm til 11pm or 9pm til 6am though I will get shift pay for it.

    On the downside, I have to go back to hospital tomorrow morning for check -ups due to my last stint in fucking hospital 2 months ago. Hoprfully theu won't have to do much to me.

    Though the very best news is I'm finally an uncle, WOO-HOO!

    Sister had a girl about 2 months ago and she is so adorable! She is my lil sweetheart whom I love and adore and who I managed to get smiling and laughing before her grandparents did lol
