Romance and incest, a match made in heaven?

As a lover of all things incest, porn or otherwise, one of the best aspects of incestous love is the romantic tension and buildup.

There's something so satisfying about learning the backstory of how a mother and her son find attraction to each other, or the slow burn of a father and his daughter catching taboo feelings because of small slip ups.

I also enjoy hearing about the buildup and backstory. The context, the dynamics, and the changing (I'd say "evolving" even) of the relationship makes the final incestuous outcome even more hot imo.

That's why I often think that the mother-son and father-daughter relationships can set up for the most powerful and passionate of romances. While I can't claim with certainty, I think the unique setting for such a build-up is probably one of the reasons why incest can feel so intense. I find myself extremely off-put by porn and erotica that is overly and unrealistically sexual without the romantic and sexual tension that characterizes incestuous relationships which often develop over years.
