Just Because It's Beautiful

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! It only happened to me once. It was at a WW1 and WW2 memorial in Germany. Two towering crosses next to each other. Very overcast. Threatening to rain any second. I thought it would be a good picture against an angry, dark, cloudy sky. As I took the picture, lightening came down close but between the crosses. It was an awesome picture. I think my niece took it. I can't find it anywhere. She was into photography in college and after. I should ask her.

 

Love the pictures, after many months of hot and dry weather, bush fires and fucking dust/Hayfever, it finally rained, with some Donner and Blitzen too, it pissed down for hours, refilling our local lake nicely.
But summer is gone, nights are cold now. I love my electric blanket, it is more reliable than a woman. Hehehehehehe.
