What year is that as I've never seen a Stang with that grill/headlight configuration. That has to be
a modified front, as I don't recall any stock car with a hood mounted tach bump or round lights next to each other.

You sure about the Windsor? I would think something like that would have at least a Cleveland.
But below the cobra emblem, is that a 5.0? Maybe it's a supercharged 302.

It is an Aussie built Ford Falcon. We produced the Falcon (bottom of the range, Fairmont - mid range, and Fairlane - the top range) for far longer than was done in the USA. It isn't a 'Stang, it is a 1977 Ford XC Falcon Cobra. A 5.8 Ltr Cleveland - I stand corrected. Yes, it had 2 round headlights because it was a Falcon. The Fairmont had rectangular headlights. There were only ever 30 "Bathhurst Special" Cobras built.

The GMH Car is a Torana owned / driven by the 'King-of-the-Mountain" Peter Brock who was a Bathhurst winner 9 times before he was killed doing what he loved - driving a rally car. A very sad day for Aussie Motorsport.

The Green car is also a Falcon, driven owned by Dick Johnson. He had a very narrow escape in that car when a rock "appeared" on the racetrack just before the
'Con-Rod Straight' and he headed off between two very large trees narrowly missing both.....he now has that very rock in his showcase in his home.

I hope that this answers any queries.

    Cheers
