Thanks for your response. Now I better understand how you see recent events, and that speech :)

I have just one more question:

The violence was per request of Trump, right? Normal conservative people, family people, flew to DC because he said on January 6th they should show strenght. Don't those people feel let down by the latest Trump words, condemding that violence??

Trump did not request the violence, thats what the media wants you to think. What Trump said was that the people should go to Washington and demonstrate and let the government know that they are unhappy with how the government is handling the election problems. Trump never called for violence. I wasn't paying much attention to the Washington protest, so I don't know all the events that led to the breakin at the Capitol, but what I have heard after it happened is very suspicious. Haven't you heard the mantra of the Left "By Any Means necessary".

I'm not a Trump supporter, first. I don't hang off his every word, in fact, I don't even think about him unless others bring him up. Neophyte's assessment seems pretty spot on.

I look forward to Trump being out of office, that way the fake news mainstream media can go back to dying, like they were before his presidency. Trump becoming president only helped the media stay alive a little longer.

Thanks Dracoa for your response :)

Just, what fake news do you mean, the "fake news" that attack Trump, or the "fake news" that supported Trump?? :p

I think he means the fake news that knew nothing but attacking Trump. Just my opinion but if Trump had found a way to end the Covid pandemic in the first 90 days it started he would have been criticized instead of praised. Those self same news channels fail to mention the millions of jobs he created in his first six months in office, they fail to mention the lowering of gas prices and the many other things he did. They did nothing but tear him down and try to find dirt on him to get him out of office for four years! Now that being said, I do not think he is perfect nor do I think he was the perfect president, all I know is unlike many presidents before him he actually put the needs of the country first. That is just my two cents worth.

Watch Harris and the rest of the Communists turn the U S to into a pile of shit. We all know Biden is a vegetable. Obama is hiding in the background calling the shots. He just can't leave.

It's being shown that there were at least one group of ex-soldiers and ex-cops in a tactical formation leading
up to the Capitol steps. Seems that there really was more than 1 or 2 'protestors' who were there bent on
    destruction.

Not only he "hinted", he explicitly said "we love you" to the people that breached the Capitol, and then said "... but you have to go home". Did you see that video???

    Thank you for commenting.

Yes, I did. "Go home" is not exactly what he said at the "Save America" rally. Or was it?

An article on the BBC website today that has relevance

    www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55648011

Interesting in that back 120 some years ago, the Democrats were the white supremacist party and the Republicans were the progressives. So in that time interval, we have a basic 180 degree shift. The Democratic Party has matured into something borderline acceptable and the Republicans have regressed into the mob.

Actually, if you do enough research you will find the Democratic Party has matured into the Democratic Socialist party. The majority of them want to turn the United States into a socialist country. That to me is just plain scary. According to my research there is not one single success story of a country after that transition.

You can vote your way into Socialism, but you have to shoot your way out of it.

There's socialism and there's true socialism. USSR called itself 'socialist' but it was in fact a dictatorship that has nothing to do with Bernie Sander's welfare state proposal. One can't get more capitalist than Pinochet's Chile regime, backed all the way by the USA, and it was as terrible as Stalin's USSR. Is China a true communist regime? With all its billionaires and privately owned companies? I don't think so. It's not all black and white.

I find it interesting that everyone who live in outside of the USA always state exactly how things are and what happens and to why.

Those of us in the USA are living it, real time, in our own neighborhoods, talking to those family and friends who live in
a different part of the country about what is happening.

Those outside the states, are making assumptions solely on the false and biased presentation of the media, liberal and
    conservative.
Take the pod casts about all the super high taxes in California. Yes California has some ridiculous taxes, but it is one
of the lower rates on land property taxes. That's never mentioned. Ours here in Ohio are way higher than California's.

As to what our elected politicians are doing, we get their reports via e-mail and other ways, and we can check what they
claim against what they actually do and how they vote. We hear them speak and we see the edited and selected parts of
their speeches in the media totally twisting their meaning to further the media's agenda of swaying how the media wants
people to believe. Both in this country and outside of this country.

We truly know what they are doing and whether they are lying, twisting, or actually stating and following through on
what they say and promise. We have the ability and we do check up on them and then try to hold them accountable.

That's why on a previous post I wrote "What's you take on...". I can only speak for myself, and one of the most important lessons life has taught me is that there's always a side your point of view may be hiding from you. As to why I'm interested in understanding the way you normal people think is because I already know that Democratic or Republican in power, the plutocrats will rule. And is their best interest that will be looked upon, not mine or yours, no matter where we were born. Brazil's economy has been destroyed to favor USA companies, and it started under Obama, and went on under Trump. The same companies that won't think twice before taking jobs abroad just to make one or two extra cents profit.

This is my point of view that, of course, is open to debate and change if that's the case.
