    How are the new rockets getting through all that ? :)
    I think the far out circle are all polar orbit spy satellites, just hovering over one location as the earth turns.

    Lets say we count only the satellites in standard orbit, about 500 miles up, and assume there are 20,000 of them. The area of space they are in is about 900,000,000 square miles, so doing the math it averages out to be 1 satellite in every 45,000 square miles.

    I wonder just how many are in a decaying orbit. The old saying about what goes up must come down. What about those that have outlived their use? Does anybody know about any plans to bring them back down? Looks like there is a lot of junk up there. How do the UFOs get through without hitting something?

    All satellites less than 20,000 miles high are in decaying orbits. Eventually they will fall back to Earth. There is atmospheric drag, gravitational anomalies, solar wind, and other factors affecting their orbits. The lower the orbit, the faster they will fall. The average time before they fall is about 25 years.

    In case you're thinking a little deeper about gravity;
    L5 is the designated area that is exactly halfway between the moon and earth where the pull of gravity
    from both bodies cancel out.
    It changes and moves continually as the moon's orbit is elliptical, not circular.

    L5 is a point of gravitational equilibrium at a point in advance of the Moon's orbit.

    I just thought I'd keep in more simple terms so people like me can understand it.

    A lot of scientific reports used to justify some policies, are the results of P-Hacking and Data Dredging. This is where if you want a specific result, you over sample your data set, then cherry pick your results. An example is where you want to report that 99 out of 100 agree with A. So you over sample until you get 99 positive results for agreeing with A. This could take 100 samples, 500 sample, 1,000 sample or any number until you get 99 positive results. Then you pick the 99 positive results and 1 negative result, then declare that 99 out of 100 agree with A. And since they did get 99 positive results, they can show proof. They just ignore any results that doesn't fit what they want. This is used for Climate Change statistics, Covid19 statistics, Racial Incidence statistics, Gun Violence statistics, and any other thing that they want to prove.

    So True!
    But the gullible American public still thinks the government statisticians spout infallible data.
    Covid is #1 in this but only a few have spoke against it because of the money it is generating for
    the medical establishments.
