Totally agree with you on that Anna. I've just had an evening in front of the box (there ain't no cinemas in this land of sand) and seen "The man with the Golden Gun" & "The Spy who loved me" as well as a Tim Allan movie: "Trouble on the Outside".

    Cheers

I can't say that I've ever seen or heard of this one Allison. But like our other precious Moderator said:

"some of those B & W films still carry a very large Power-punch and should be accepted as fine art and frolic!"

One or two that come to mind are "The Africa Queen" with 2 tremendous actors, not to mention others like "The Maltese Falcon" or "The Cain Mutiny" (Sydney Greenstreet and Bogey).....the list goes on.

    Cheers

Its not B & W. Though I thought it was a sad story. Well a sad ending. Its about two kids striking up a friendship.

    Contraband.

One of Wahlburgs better efforts, it was pretty good.

Correct, it does have a sad ending but sometimes not all movies end happy. Still I thought it was a very good movie. :)

Star Trek Insurrection (on right now). It's better than I remember it being when I saw it in the theaters. F Murray Abraham is wonderful as the villain.

Awwww I loved the Tribbles and they come in handy around Klingons. Not to mention one saved Kirks butt from the radiation chamber and dying if it wasn't from that one tribble being experimented on with Khans blood. ;)

I think it is on Amazon. No longer streaming on Netflix, but you can get the DVD from them.
