Being a blonde myself, I will dare to state the obvious.
"Blondness has nothing to do with it!" :):p;)

Nope depending on the time for AKBLOKE is rapidly approaching Thursday not Tuesday. He's ahead of us Slisse not behind. That why when you go westward toward the Dateline you advance a day not lose one. You would lose one if you were starting out from his location and headed toward us.

No big deal. The concept is a screwy one to understand in the first place.. Now try this. Pilots all use the same clock. We don't change the time because of where we are. Its called Zulu time which is weird cause the Zulu tribe is in South Africa and has nothing to do with it.

Once you work with the system you get used to it rather quickly.
    1. First everything is measured on a 24 hour clock not Am or Pm.
so what ever time your clock says add 12 if its after noon. So 2 Pm becomes 2 + 12 or 1400 hours.

    2. Now we move on to GMT/UTC which is the local time at Greenwich England (Greenwitch Mean Time or Coordinated Universal time. If you are West of Greenwitch then you subtract the number of time zones from yours to England because you are behind them in time. The Earth turns from west to east so England is ahead of the US. Eastern time is 5 hrs behind so you subtract -5 hours. Central time is -6 etc.

    3. The doggie doesn't do anything cause his time is Greenwitch time but for his friend Slisse in Belgium we must add one hour because Slisse is 1 hour ahead of Greenwitch. So if its noon for the doggie its 1 PM for Slisse and 7 Am for the Eastern time zone in the US

    4. Finally we get Zulu time which is nothing more than using GMT time all over the globe at once. So if its 17oo in England and 1700 in Russia and 1700 in Japan, etc. Pilots use Zulu time so that where ever we are we all have the same time on our watch.

    5. Right now in this example its almost 5 Pm or 1700 hours GMT + 0, in England. Slisse has 6 PM or 1800 hours. GMT +1 and New York has Noon or GMT-5

(this example only applies to the moment I post this time on the site.)

I want to know why they base everything on a 24 hour clock. I thought that was only the Military.
