Now Thursday it will start with the match
Russia - Saudi Arabia
Been watching World Cup football since 1966, Slisse - can't get very enthusiastic about this one, I fear there may be a lot of violence in Russia.
That may be so true as I saw yesterday an interview with a russian hooligan who said that they were ready to fight, and certainly against the fans from countries who said bad things about Russia.
I hope it's not, but it may be a three way fight between Russian police, their hooligans and the yobs from other countries to see who is the toughest ! Four live matches in a row on TV on Saturday might tempt me back.
14 & 15 June
Saudi were terrible, at least it wasn't the usual boring opening match.
Indeed, even if the Saudi's had a few fine movements.
First match from today:
My faith is restored. Ronaldo scores an out of this world free-kick to equalise at 3-3.
Last 2 matches from today
The 1st match from today 16 June
The 2nd match 16 June
The 3th match 16 June
The last match from 16 June
Well up to now a lot of fine matches. But most important no football related violence. I guess the western UK and Us media must be furious that the pathetic attempt at anti Russian propaganda has failed to happen. from what I have observed it one big World cup party happening in Russia at the moment.
The first match from 17 June
The 2nd match from 17 June
