So it seems that one Michael Foster, a mental health counsellor from Seattle, thought it was a good idea to turn off a main valve in the Canada/US Keystone Pipeline last year.

And a few minutes later, 15 per cent of the US oil supply (you read that right) halted.

This happened last October, and his case is about to be tried in North Dakota. He faces up to 21 years on the inside for his brilliance.

A 'mental health counsellor' eh ? Well, doctor - heal thyself.

So......why did they build the pipeline so that it was so easy for just anyone to come along and turn the valve and cut off supply? It seems to me that they should be thanking him for showing the builders where they have gone wrong to make it so simple. Although I can understand why they would want a quick shut-off in case of emergency..?

    Cheers
