Pssst! It doesn't mean that I have to like Ol' Crookbacks lineage! He and his cronies murdered my Lancastrian Ancestor, at the Battle of St Albans during,

[IMG] My mother was also a Lancs rose - she met my dad during the War,
when the Calgary Highlanders were stationed near Manchester.

So, does that give you a clue to how deep we dig into your
historical data for our vetting process, investigations!

Or did you think that it was just chance that we relied upon?

I finally received a start date for "Chemo-Therapy!" It will start this Monday TBA!

I'll have to hash out the time with their scheduler, the first phase is five (5) days!

(I'll need to go in to have a "PORT" installed sometime on Friday tomorrow!)
They decided to do this portion of Phase One, as an Outpatient!

So, we'll need to play this by ear!
"I'm approaching this, as an educational opportunity!"

Has anyone here gone through this before?
    (Any insight would be beneficial!)

A port is just a tiny hole through which the chemicals can be inserted, a substitute for using hypodermic needles.

I have a friend who has one, and his wife learned how to tend to it was well.

I've had a "PORT" before (several times.) They're only good for a short time,
but longer than a Hep-lock IV which requires more maintenance!
I was comatose when they emplaced one the first time! So, I wasn't aware of them
implanting it. I was, however, aware when they changed it the third and fourth time!

This one is on my personal, must do, schedule with the time still not coordinated!
I'll let you know when that is set-up!

Thanks for this info Anna. So you've had them before and therefore know a bit about them. I've not had anything like this and have reasonably healthy all my life. It is unfortunate that some folks have to go through may medical procedures (often the nicest people?) and end up quite knowledgeable about them.

    Cheers

Not knowing a date is harder than knowing the date.
Now you can go forward, meanwhile humming 'always look on the bright side of life'.

Dang, and double dang! Per usual! Someone somewhere has managed to foul-up
a "Wet-Dream" again! I just found out this morning that an authorization ran out for my "PORT" to be installed at midnight last night, They hadn't even bothered to read that first
authorization was due to expire last night! Talk about the left-hand not knowing what the
right-hand is doing! I would have thought that the authorization for implanting the
"Central Port" would've accompanied the request for the Chemo-Therapy medication!
I would have been wrong in that assumption. Which means, that they "KNEW" about the probability of this being Leukemia, full well about six dang months ago!o_O
