Up here around the Great Lakes, it's like community - we know who we like, on both sides of the imaginary border.

On this side, I nowadays kinda like a lady called Toni - she's from Malta's past and Toronto's future. :)

She's wrestling nowadays with MS - an most ugly affliction, which in my experience tends to happen to the most beautiful of people.

So we're working on it. One time I received a gift to give to her to boost her confidence - sent from a friend of mine on the other side of the Great Lakes ...

[IMG] ... How cool is that ?

That's Great Lakes greatness - true story. Thanks, neighbour. [IMG]

[IMG] ... That trapper was chasing after that wolf's tail so fast,
that the wolf dropped its prey and the trapper left his snow shoes behind.

I am very fortunate to have the Lake Michigan shoreline just outside my back door, it provides for magnificent views every day followed by breathtaking sunsets every night

    It's a tough life, isn't it?
I have to trudge nearly an eighth of a mile to get to the beautiful mid Michigan shoreline.

I imagine their last hour, it must have been hell on earth, poor souls.

My wife and I have lived in Michigan all of our lives. And, we are always finding new areas/places around the state to visit and explore.

Many trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes!
Only time I've ever seen the fog rolling in like this. (Memorial Day weekend 2017)
