A Conservatives view of Liberals

I have found it hard to understand how Liberals try to enact programs or goals, that have been proven to be wrong and try to do things over and over again when they continually fail. In researching why Liberals do this, I've found that Liberals fundamentally view the World in a different manner than Conservatives. What I have discovered is that Liberals don't see the failure as being the result that what they are trying to enact a bad policy. What the Liberal does is to redefine the process that lead to their failure in such a way that they believe that a different goal failed and their original goal is still good and achievable. For example, when Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collapsed the housing market, it wasn't because their idea of handing out subprime loans was wrong, it was that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac wasn't set up the right way. Other examples are like even though Socialism has failed everywhere it has been tried the Liberal thinks that it wasn't the Socialism that failed, it was that what was tried wasn't true Socialism.

 

On the last one, you are taking a small part of the Left and claiming that is the WHOLE while ignoring the people on the right who "Insert thing" and demand it be banned. Like Gay Marriage, MJ, anything that does not fit their "Personal Morals". How about the swath of the Right who flipped their shit when the kid contacted Ingram's advertisers? He literally practiced the "Free Market" they yell about.

I am a gun owning social liberal. But the Right and Left are not hands clean on any of this.
