The 2017 Invictus Games

    The Invictus Games are an international Paralympic-style event, established in 2014 by Prince Harry of Wales. In these Games, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans, take part in a multitude of sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing.

    The first Invictus Games took place in March 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, United Kingdom. Last year's Games were held in Orlando Florida, the 2018 event is scheduled for Sydney Australia, and this year it is Canada's honour to host them.
